This is a challenging but beautiful ride  to have fun.

Seattle drivers should take the 7:10 AM Edmonds Ferry to Kingston. Then, drive to the Olympic National Park Visitor Center in Port Angeles. We will plan to start riding at 9 AM after all the cars carrying riders arrive.

CAR POOLING:
Carpooling is encouraged!  If you don’t have a car pool, please
consider sending a COGS email seeking a ride or volunteering to drive.

PACE:

The climb up Hurricane Ridge will be at each rider’s individual pace.  Some riders will more quickly ascend; others will just take their time and eventually crest the top. However, one should be able to sustain a long 5000+ foot climb to endure this ride. We will regroup if needed.

 REGROUPING PLAN:

We can regroup as needed on the way up.

At the top we will regroup for lunch at Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center and share stories of our epic climb.

After lunch, we will descend back to the Olympic National Park Visitor Center parking lot, and decompress!
