This is the traditional ride around Lake Washington on Independence Day. We might see local parades (e.g., Kirkland) on the way. You can join us en route if you prefer that to the group start. Instead of the usual counterclockwise heading south, we will travel clockwise heading north. The pace is moderate and we will take trails, such as the new Arboretum trail (the start only) and 520 partial trail. Focus is on scenic routes and a minimum of climbing. We will return across I-90 to Leschi. If anyriders want to do the south end too, they can add it instead of returning across I-90. Total distance is about 40 miles for the north loop or 55 for the entire lake. We will ride together and regroup often. Be prepared to have enough food for a 40-mile ride. My cell phone is 206-225-7737. Mel Simburg.
