COGS Bike Boat and Train Ride for a Century

Registration is closed

We ride to take the UW station light rail to the Angle Lake Station, ride to Gig Harbor for lunch, and find our way to the Southworth Ferry Boat ride to Fauntleroy terminal and ride back to Gas Works Park. 

The details: about 100 miles, but only 75 on the bike, 4400 ft elevation gain, high moderate to brisk pace.  There will be a 20 mile light rail ride and 5 mile Southworth ferry ride back to West Seattle and then the ride back to your starting point.

Sign in will be on the light rail train.  Meet at Gas Works Park at 8:15AM or over at the UW Light Rail Station before 8:30AM.  Options for lunch abound in Gig Harbor at Harbor General Store or Suzanne's Bakery.

Heavy rain and/or summer snow and ice will cancel. 

Ride leaders: Ron Tazuma or you can use RWGPS as a navigation aide.

NOTE: COGS Rides are limited to members and one time guest non-members. You must register to be permitted to ride. According to the club insurance policy, If you are not a COGS member then you can register and participate in one ride.
