This Weekend Hub n Spoke will center around Ride Around Clark County which is put on by Vancouver Bicycle Club on Saturday May 6. Peter Krippner will lead 2 days of riding on Friday and Sunday. You can join for any of the days you wish. Routes will be taken from '75 Classic Rides of WA' #'s 31 & 33. There is also an optional Thursday ride on the way down to Vancouver that is shown on the RWGPS link below.
Day 1 (Friday) North Clark County - Tumtum Mountain: 74 miles, 5,475', High Moderate/Low Brisk or self-pace.
Day 2 Ride Around Clark County event ride: You will need to register directly for this event at http://www.vbc-usa.com/content.aspx?page_id=22&club_id=851488&module_id=243613 There are 5 routes that can be chosen; 18, 34, 53, 66, or 100 miles. I have chosen the 100 mile route. Discounted registration is available until April 24. This appears to be a well supported ride.
Day 3 Washougal and East, Hillz 'N' More: 65 miles, 4,970', High Moderate/Low Brisk or self-pace. Meet at Fred Meyer parking lot,16600 SE McGillivray Blvd, Vancouver.
Everyone needs to make their own camping or lodging arrangements. I will be staying at Battle Ground Lake State Park.
