Saturday, June 11, Vashon Island ride, 38 miles, 3500 ft of elevation change, at a moderate to low brisk pace. We will be taking the 9:15 Fauntleroy ferry to Vashon. Rider sign in will be on the boat. Park in the larger of the two parking lots for Lincoln Park, which if you are driving south on Fauntleroy way towards the ferry is the first parking lot on your right. Purchase tickets at the KIOSK at the end of the pier, no need to line up with the cars. About half way through the ride we will stop at the small store in Burton for snacks and beverages. Then ride a short distance to Jensen Point Park for potty break and consumption of food stuffs. Towards the end of the ride options exist in town for lunch and/or ice cream.
