This is a very pretty ride, but with some streets. We will leave from Leschi, generally follow I-90 on the north side going out, climb to Issaquah Highlands on the bike trail and then enjoy a long descent into Fall City, where we will stop at the grocery store. Buy lunch there or bring bars/snacks for lunch at Snoqualmie Falls overlook. We will take the fish hatchery road for a good chunk of the way from Fall City until the climb to the Falls. After lunch, we have a fun descent back to Fall City and take a different route to climb back to Issaquah Highlands. We will return on the south side of I-90 following Newport Way to Cold Creek Parkway. Total distance is 63 miles via our route and 3900 feet of total climbing. Moderate pace, slow on the two steep climbs over the Issaquah Highlands, and frequent regrouping.

The ride and cue sheet are at https://ridewithgps.com/routes/18999967, although we will have a couple of quirks that didn't map exactly, but will still end up at the right place. Major construction in Issaquah means going on some streets instead of trails. Beer & food post-ride at Bluwater Bistro, Leschi. Mel Simburg, seattleskier@hotmail.com, 206-225-7737.

NOTE: COGS Rides are limited to members and one time guest non-members. You must register to be permitted to ride. According to the club insurance policy, If you are not a COGS member then you can register and participate in one ride.
