Saturday, August 12, 2017, COGS Hurricane Ridge Ride, 73 miles, 6500+ ft of climbing, high moderate to low brisk pace. Take the 7:10 Edmonds ferry for meet up 9 AM at Sequim High School parking lot (601 N. Sequim Ave.). Sign up will be in the parking lot, ride leader will not be on the ferry. Roll out at 9:15. Public restroom facilities are available on the east side of N. Sequim Ave. a few blocks before high school. The ride starts on back roads then uses shoulder of HWY 101 before entering the park. Return route will use Olympic trail. Regroups at park entrance (mile 18), restrooms and water available but no food. Water and food can be had at the visitor center at the top of the climb (mile 36).
