After taking a year off in 2016, we revive the Perimeter Ride of Seattle in the "Lite" version. This route covers the traditional counter-clockwise direction heading to West Seattle, Lincoln Park, Skyway, Seward Park, Leschi, Arboretum, U-W, and the B-G Trail back to Discovery Park for this just under 60 miles and 2700 feet of climbing.
Three pace group are planned at this time. A Strenuous-Brisk, a Brisk-High-Moderate, and a Moderate pace group are planned at this time. If other COGS ride leaders would like to join in and lead a separate group and/or pace please let Ron or Richard or Michael know and we will keep you informed of any route changes.
This is a challenging ride with a fair amount of climbing as you can preview the route at the Ride with GPS link below. Meet at 8:00AM to sign the waiver. Options for a short snack/break at Leschi Market. This is a self-supported ride so bring along your essentials, pump, spare tubes, cash, phone, spare battery, etc.
Lunch and refreshment options after the ride in Magnolia village or Fisherman's Terminal.
Heavy rain and/or summer snow and ice will cancel.
Ride leaders: Ron Tazuma, Richard Petters, Michael Hooning, and possibly a few others will help out.
