Vashon Island Ride

A wonderful loop ride just a short ferry ride away from Seattle.  Thirty-eight miles, rolling hills, 3600 feet of climbing, okay a few of them are steep, on quiet roads, high moderate to low brisk pace.  Stop at mile 18 to pick up any snacks needed at the store in Burton.  Snack and potty break at mile 19 at Jenson Point.  At end of ride there is an option for a late afternoon burrito feed.  Pick up in town and eat at Island native and COGS member Lloyd Jones’ place.  Its downhill, mostly, from his place to the ferry.  Ride leader on the Seattle side will be Richard Petters

We will be catching the 10:10 Fauntleroy ferry to Vashon.  Sign in will be on the ferry.  Suggest arriving around 9:30 and parking in the south end of the north parking lot at Lincoln Park.

We will be doing some variation of the route referenced below
