Wayne Johnson will lead a mixed terrain ride through the mountains with beautiful views, gentle climbs and steep descents. We will climb the Palouse to Cascades Trail (formerly, the John Wayne Trail) up to and through the Snoqualmie Tunnel. After exiting the tunnel we’ll climb to the top of Snoqualmie Pass where we will stop for lunch. After lunch we’ll descend past Franklin Falls and Denny Creek to cross I-90 and enter our second gravel section on Tinkham Road. Before we finish, we have a short section of I-90 to ride. The ride is 36 miles with 2400' of climbing.
Some of the ride will be deep in the woods. You are expected to be self-sufficient in navigation and repairs.
Pace: Moderate
