Jim Stewart to lead this ride this coming Saturday. It's a loop from Mercer Island to SE Renton around the So end of Lake Wa. With excursions to two of my childhood homes. The route meanders through Newport Hills and May Valley to the Issaquah Hobart road, then returns via the Cedar River Trail and up the West side of Lake Washington back to I-90. Snack stop at the Tiger Mountain store, mile 20.
This route gives a real mix of rural, suburban and urban King County. We'll go by my childhood home Newport Hills and visit another via a brief side trip to Lake McDonald (that's the 250 ft. bump on the cue sheet at mile 17).
Please register on the COGS website if you plan to ride. Seattle residents may want to start from Leschi and meet me at M.I., but CALL OR TEXT ME SO I know to expect you!
