Tour de Bainbridge

Saturday, Feb 22, meet 8:35 AM at Coleman Ferry dock to catch the 8:55 ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge.  Sign in and ride brief will be on the ferry.  Thirty-six miles, 2500 ft, at a moderate to low brisk pace with occasional regroups.  Potty stop at mile 14.2, extended coffee break in Lynnwood Village at mile 24.5.  This route includes not-to-be-missed, short-but-sweet, Toe Jam Hill at mile 27.  For the just-say-no to Toe Jam riders, there is a shortcut back to the ferry after Lynnwood Village.

Rain or snow will cancel ride.  If predictions are dire cancellation notice will be sent out no later than 7 am the morning of the ride.  If no cancellation notice is sent assume the ride is a go.

Your ride leader for this year's tour will be Richard Petters, 206.484.0955.  A rider who has logged fewer miles this year than the total length of this ride.  Come out and join the fun!

A few reminders.  All participants on COGS rides must wear a helmet.  No earbuds please. Riders are expected to ride in a safe and courteous manner, and are expected to obey the rules of the road. Riders need to be self-supporting with spare tubes, patch kit, pump, and suitable clothing to match the conditions expected.  This time of year expect cool and damp conditions.


NOTE: COGS Rides are limited to members and one time guest non-members. You must register to be permitted to ride. According to the club insurance policy, If you are not a COGS member then you can register and participate in one ride.
