NOTE: I've moved up the departure by 90 minutes due to heat expected later in the day -The route starts and ends at the Colman Dock, but if you prefer you can meet us at Fauntleroy. We will take the 9:10 ferry from Fauntleroy to Southworth, ~13 miles from Coleman Dock. If you wish, you can leave the ride at Bremerton and just do the 13 miles from Southworth to Port Orchard. The foot ferry from Port Orchard to Bremerton runs every 30 minutes. We will have lunch in Port Orchard, and an optional stop for coffee in Paulsbo. NOTE: This is a challenging, day-long ride and I will lead at a high moderate pace - meaning that I will incline towards 16 MPH, but will average less than 14 mph. I will regroup as necessary. The forecast is for warm weather, so be prepared with extra water, energy boosters, electrolytes, sunscreen, etc.
COGS rides are now open to both members and non-members. Non-members are limited to one “free” ride with the club, after which COGS’ insurance requires they become a member. All persons must register. The number of persons allowed on a ride is left to the discretion of the ride leader.
COVID still remains a dominant health issue for our society. COGS riders are required to follow all state and county health guidelines to protect themselves and others.
