Parkinson's patients (or "Parkies") will need volunteer tandem captains for a therapeutic spin class on fixed tandem bicycles.  Sessions  begin Wednesdays at 12:00 at Outdoors For All in Magnuson Park at The Brig and will last one hour.  Each session consists of a 10 minute moderate warmup, followed by a 40 minute brisk pace and finally a 10 minute cooldown.  You do not need prior tandem experience, but an ability to maintain cadence and communicate with your parkie/stoker about pace and shifting will be required.  Arrive a few minutes early for a pre-brief and bike setup.  We can meet for lunch after at the Magnuson Cafe if you like.

COVID still remains a dominant health issue for our society. COGS riders are required to follow all state and county health guidelines to protect themselves and others. Regardless of vaccine status, all participants should be healthy and symptom free of COVID or any flu like symptoms. For more information, please see: Riding with COGS Protocols.

NOTE: COGS Rides are limited to members and one time guest non-members. You must register to be permitted to ride. According to the club insurance policy, If you are not a COGS member then you can register and participate in one ride.
