Saturday Between the Raindrops

The forecast is pretty weak, with only a 40% chance of rain and not much accumulation. Let's take advantage of this low-confidence forecast and get a ride in. The route takes us onto the newly-completed outer bike lane at Green Lake, then through the UW campus and Burke-Gilman to a great bakery. We continue north toward Lake City, then make our way to Northgate and wind our way back via various interesting neighborhoods. Check out the route.

Bring a rain jacket just in case and a good attitude. If it's pouring in the morning, the ride may be postponed or canceled.

COGS rides are now open to both members and non-members. Non-members are limited to one “free” ride with the club, after which COGS’ insurance requires they become a member. All persons must register. The number of persons allowed on a ride is left to the discretion of the ride leader.

COVID still remains a dominant health issue for our society. COGS riders are required to follow all state and county health guidelines to protect themselves and others.
