Our dear friend Tom Schaefer was famous for doing at least one century ride every month. Year round.  Here is a ride where we can honor Tom with a social ride.  It is the Southern portion of the century and goes around the Northern part of Washington Lake.

NOTE: We have a ride leader!  Thanks to Mel and Arnie.

Magnuson Park (Magnuson Cafe and Brewery): Unlike the century ride, this ride is a stay together ride.  2:00pm check in time.  2:15pm start time.

Rest Stop #1: We can stop in Woodinville for coffee and/or pastry and if we are lucky we will meet up with some of the century riders and join them for the rest of the ride.

Rest Stop #2: Kirkland PPC will be our second chance to meetup and ride with the century riders.  The best thing about PPC is that they have a great selection of cookies.

Share a meal after the ride @ 6:00pm: The century riders should complete their ride at approximately 6:00pm (plus or minus 30 minutes).  We are hoping to share a meal together.

RAIN DATE: Saturday, June 10th is our backup ride date.  If the weather forecast for June 10 is substantially better than the 11th then we will switch to this earlier day.  When decision is made it will be announced here and all registrants will be notified.

COGS rides are now open to both members and non-members. Non-members are limited to one “free” ride with the club, after which COGS’ insurance requires they become a member. All persons must register. The number of persons allowed on a ride is left to the discretion of the ride leader.

COVID remains a public health concern and COGS will continue to follow state and county health guidelines. Regardless of vaccine status, all participants should be free of COVID or flu-like symptoms before participating in any rides, tours, and social events.
NOTE: COGS Rides are limited to members and one time guest non-members. You must register to be permitted to ride. According to the club insurance policy, If you are not a COGS member then you can register and participate in one ride.
