This is ride #3 of a 4 part ride series.  The primary goal of the series is to prepare for the 2023 Tour de Manure Century (103 miles) on June 11th.  The series will also familiarize us with the 103 mile route as each ride is a subset of that route.  Rides #1 and #4 are planned for a social pace.

  2.  Sunday, May 7th at 9am.  57 miles.  Start: Wilmot Gateway Park.
  3.  Sunday, May 28th at 8am.  77 miles.  Start: Wilmot Gateway Park.
  4.  Saturday, June 3rd at 9am.  33 miles.  Start: Magnuson Park.

Wilmot Gateway Park (Woodinville Sports Field parking lot):  See map here.  The ride departs promptly at 8am.  The pace is Moderate+ (15-17mph).  Be prepared to navigate on your own should the pace be too fast.

First Lunch: At Snohomish.  Snohomish Pie Company is a favorite.  Other options available.

Second Lunch: At Sultan.  Good Brewing, Mexican, Thai, and a few other options.

Other Stops: As needed.  Food & Coffee available at mile 13 and at mile 40 (Monroe).  Plenty of bathroom breaks available along the route.

RAIN CANCELS:  A cancel notice will be sent the day before the ride if the forecast calls for heavy rain.

COGS rides are now open to both members and non-members. Non-members are limited to one “free” ride with the club, after the COGS’ insurance requires they become a member. All persons must register. The number of persons allowed on a ride is left to the discretion of the ride leader.

COVID remains a public health concern and COGS will continue to follow state and county health guidelines. Regardless of vaccine status, all participants should be free of COVID or flu-like symptoms before participating in any rides, tours, and social events.
NOTE: COGS Rides are limited to members and one time guest non-members. You must register to be permitted to ride. According to the club insurance policy, If you are not a COGS member then you can register and participate in one ride.
