Tour de Bainbridge:
Saturday July 15th, meet 9:15 AM at Coleman Ferry dock to catch the 9:35 ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge. Sign in and ride brief will be on the ferry. Thirty-six miles, 2500 ft, moderate pace, occasional regroups. Potty stop at mile 14.2, extended stop in Lynnwood Village, mile 24.5. Suggest bringing additional snacks and liquids for back up.
This route includes not-to-be-missed, short-but-sweet, Toe Jam Hill at mile 27. For the just-say-no to Toe Jam riders, there is a shortcut back to the ferry from Lynnwood Village.
Predicted rain or other adverse weather conditions will cancel ride. Cancellation notice will be sent out no later than 7 am the morning of the ride. If no cancellation notice, assume ride is a go.
COGS rides are now open to both members and non-members. Non-members are limited to one “free” ride with the club, after which COGS’ insurance requires they become a member. All persons must register. The number of persons allowed on a ride is left to the discretion of the ride leader.
