Departure  10:00 AM each day

This is a repeat of a weekend hub n spoke I did for COGS quite a few years ago. I am using the same routes but adding an extra day for a new route this time. You can join for one ride or any combination of them. You need to make your own accommodations in Ellensburg or surrounding areas. I'll be at the Econo Lodge Ellensburg. Please find full event details on the RWGPS event post and read the Overview Tab, Detailed Itinerary Tab, and the Event Details Tab found there:

  • Download the routes from RWGPS onto your own devices or print out your own cue sheets. Participants are expected to be self-supporting with spare tubes, pump, water, snacks, and capable of fixing their own flats. Helmets are required on COGS rides. Use of flashers, visual enhancers and rearview mirrors is encouraged. Weather conditions can and will change, be prepared. In addition, please also bring safe riding skills and good road manners.
  • Please note that Day 1 has ~30 miles of gravel riding and I recommend 35mm+ wide tires. I will ride with 47mm. Day 2-4 is pavement and you can use your normal road bike.
  • I will be in contact with registered riders if there are any cancellations or delays. The 4 day event will not be cancelled as a whole but an individual day's ride could be in case of snow/icy conditions that are not safe.

  • Please contact me if you have further questions after going through the information provided.

NOTE: COGS Rides are limited to members and one time guest non-members. You must register to be permitted to ride. According to the club insurance policy, If you are not a COGS member then you can register and participate in one ride.
