NOTE: I've revised this route for a later start with fewer hills, fewer miles and an option to return to Seattle from Bremerton.
Bring your Orca card! This route includes 2 ferry rides with an option to add a third via Port Orchard. We'll start the route via the traditional Bainbridge route on the east side of the island, then hop on 305 to cross Agate Pass. We'll make a stop in Paulsbo for coffee, then continue on to Bremerton via Keyport, Brownsville and Illahee. Some may want to return to Seattle via ferry from Bremerton, and the rest will take the foot ferry across Sinclair Inlet to Port Orchard for lunch - The foot ferry to Bremerton runs every 30 minutes from Port Orchard to Bremerton. The final ferry ride will be from Southworth, either to Fauntleroy on the car ferry or back to the Colman Dock on the Kitsap fast ferry.
COGS rides are now open to both members and non-members. Non-members are limited to one “free” ride with the club, after which COGS’ insurance requires they become a member. All persons must register.
