This is a recon ride to explore a new route that is in the works... So, we might get lost on the way... However, I did get some input from Mike since posting and I made some changes to the route.  All should go well. 

Route overview: This is a ride from UWT to Bellevue, around Mercer Island, and back to UWT via Capitol Hill, Interlaken, and the University Bridge.  The coffee stop is closer to the end of the ride at mile ~28 (Macrina Capitol Hill).

Participants are expected to be self-supporting with spare tubes, pump, water, snacks, and capable of fixing their own flats.  Helmets are required on COGS rides.  Use of flashers, visual enhancers and rearview mirrors is encouraged.  Weather conditions can and will change, be prepared. In addition, please also bring safe riding skills and good road manners. 

Cancellation notice for rain, smoke, fire, ice will be sent out no later than 7 AM the morning of the ride.

COGS rides are now open to both members and non-members. Non-members are limited to one “free” ride with the club, after which COGS’ insurance requires they become a member. All persons must register. The number of persons allowed on a ride is left to the discretion of the ride leader.
