North Bend Park and Ride
https://maps.app.goo.gl/b4V1FkFztcZWM2VQ6
This is a firm packed gravel trail on the old rail bed. Climb is steady and less than 3%. 700x28 tires are manageable but may be challenging this time of year on a dry dusty downhill. Ride leader will be on at least 700x40. We stay together until after Rattlesnake Lake. Climb at your own pace, its impossible to get lost. Ride leader plans a moderate pace.
You don't need to be expert on gravel. It's an excellent beginner route but requires confidence descending on a shallow gravel surface. There are no steep sections but speeds can get a bit high a times
Experienced gravel riders will give others a healthy head start on the downhill so no one is left behind.
There is no water or food en route so come prepared. Have clothes for a chilly descent.
