Let's head under and over Snoqualmie Pass. This is one of the best rides in the state. It has it all:

  • A long, gentle climb up a gravel rail trail with great views.
  • One of the longest tunnels in the USA
  • A great pub for lunch
  • A long paved downhill with challenging hairpin turns
  • A long gradual descent on a gravel road through the forest
  • 2 miles downhill on the shoulder of I-90

OK, the last one isn't great, but it is a reasonable price to pay for an utterly fantastic ride.
