This route has some easy gravel sections and steep hills. We will stop at the Sculpture in Volunteer park to take some pictures. We will travel through Interlaken and the Arboretum. This is a Moderate ride.  Participants should be able to maintain 14-16 mph pace on the flats.  There's a lot of climbing so bring small gears.  We will all climb at our own speed and regroup at the top.  Participants are also expected to be self-sufficient with spare tubes, pump, water, snacks, and capable of fixing their own flats.  Participants need to be able to navigate the course on their own in case there’s an emergency and the ride leader has to attend to that.  A cue sheet can be printed out from the RWGPS course linked above.  Helmets are required on COGS rides.  Front and Rear lights are required, and rearview mirrors are encouraged.  Weather conditions can and will change, be prepared. In addition, please also bring safe riding skills and good road manners.

NOTE: COGS Rides are limited to members and one time guest non-members. You must register to be permitted to ride. According to the club insurance policy, If you are not a COGS member then you can register and participate in one ride.
