Just a head's up that I may postpone the TDM ride again.  The forecast for Sunday is not very good.  If it's going to rain all day then I think we should wait for a better day.

The Tour de Manure, the century ride for Tom Schaefer, was postponed from the original date.  New date is May 15.

This is going to be a great ride and I hope more of you will try to join the small group currently signed up.

In case you feel a full century is a bit too much this early in the season then consider one of the alternative shorter routes.  You can either start, and finish, at Magnuson and just go to the town of Snohomish and back, skipping Everett, Monroe, and Sultan.  This works out to be about 65 miles.  The Metric Manure.

Another alternative is to drive to Snohomish and ride and do the middle part of the route from there.  In this case you will take Lowell Snohomish River road to Everett to join the century route.  After passing through Sultan and taking the Ben Howard Road toward Monroe, this alternative will take you back to Snohomish for a bit less than 60 miles of nearly all farm road riding.  Just the Manure.

The official start time is 7:30 from Magnuson. Assuming a rough pace of 10 mph then we should be back to the Magnuson Brewery around 6pm.  We should be passing through Bothell (Liam and Pam) around 8:15.  My guess is that we will get to mile 27 on the route, where the century route crosses Lowell Snohomish River Rd around 10:15.  So if you are doing the Metric Manure you and want to try to join the century riders, you should roll out of Snohomish by 9:45.

I'm going to work on cue sheets that I hope will apply to all the routes.
