At the August board meeting, we will be voting on amendments to the By-laws and discussing next year's slate of board officer candidates.  There will be some vacancies on the board.  There are two more board meetings to finalize the amendments and prepare for the annual membership meeting - which will be in late October - when we will put By-laws amendments and next year's slate of officers to a vote of the membership.

If you've ever considered joining the board, now is the time!  Running this club requires dedicated volunteers who are willing and able to attend meetings and do the work necessary to keep the club functioning.  I will be stepping down as club president after three successive terms.  Board experience is preferred, but not required.  Let me know if you're interested, or attend either the August or September meeting and make your interest known to the board.
