Please disregard the previous (deleted) post on this topic.  The board proposed the following changes to the By-Laws at the August 4th meeting:

• Article 7 Classes of Membership

7.1.1 Classes of Members. COGS shall have twofour classes of members:  Individual, and Household, Sponsor, and Lifetime

7.1.4 Sponsors.  Sponsoring memberships are provided to persons, households, or entities who have contributed at least the rated determined annually..  Sponsorships are offered for a period of one year from date of such donation.

7.1.5 Lifetime.  Lifetime members are provided by a unanimous vote of the Board of Directors.  Such memberships are permanent at no cost to members who have contributed substantially to COGS.

• Article 7.4 Dues

7.4.2 The amount of the annual dues shall be determined by the Board by the last day of January March each year, and, absent exigent circumstances, shall remain at the same level fro one calendar year.

• Article 8.9 Regular Meetings

Regular meetings of the Board of Directors shall take place at least nine (9) four (4) times a year […]

• Article 8.24 President’s Duties and Responsibilities
