Dear COGS,

It has been my honor to serve as COGS President for the last four years, and as Secretary for the two years prior.  It is time for me to step down from this role, and turn it over to someone else; time for fresh ideas for the future direction of the club.  Most current board members have held multiple volunteer board and ride leader positions for several years.  We are all aging well, but it is time for change.  Please consider stepping up to a board position - especially if you are a current ride leader, but any member willing to assume a board position is eligible.  The annual membership meeting is coming this fall - if you are interested in club leadership, join us for board meetings on Monday and in September.  These will be the last two board meetings before the Annual Membership Meeting, and your chance to see what a board meeting is like.  I hope to see you Monday (August 3rd) at Old Stove on Nickerson.
